Materials Panel

The Materials Panel is located in the Left Sidebar and provides essential tools for managing and selecting materials within your projects. It consists of two main tabs: Materials and Material Sets.

Materials Tab

The Materials Tab displays the materials from the Material Set of the currently open project. This tab is designed to facilitate the selection of materials for your voxel creations. Here are some key features:

• Select a Material for Drawing: Click on a material to select it for your drawing needs. For more information on different methods of selecting materials, refer to the Selecting Colors and Materials for Drawing section.
• Filter Materials: Use the buttons at the top of the material list to set a filter that displays specific materials based on your preferences. For more information, see Filtering Colors and Materials.
• Manage Favorite Materials: Easily manage your favorite materials for quick access during your creative process. For more information, see Managing Favorites.

Material Sets Tab

The Material Sets Tab lists all shared Material Sets that can be selected when creating a new project. This tab offers several functionalities:

• Create a New Empty Material Set: Use the New Material Set button to create a new, empty Material Set.
• Edit Material Sets: Double-click on a Material Set to open it in the Material Set Editor. For more details, see Editing Material Sets.
• Manage Material Sets: Easily delete, rename, or duplicate existing Material Sets to keep your workspace organized. For more information, see Working with Files.
• Import and Export: Import existing Material Sets to expand your options or export your custom Material Sets for use in other projects.
