Scaling (Pixel)

The Scale operation in Foxel allows you to adjust the arrangement of pixels within a selected pixel grid, giving the impression of a scaled object. It’s important to note that this operation does not scale the object itself; it only alters how the pixels are organized within the grid.

INFO

Pixel References can also be scaled using this operation. The new scale is applied on top of the existing transformations, meaning the final scale is calculated by combining the current grid rotation and grid scale with the new scale. This results in an updated grid scale property based on the combined transformation matrix.

Steps to Scale Pixel Grids

  1. Select pixels, Pixel Layers, or Pixel References.
  2. Navigate to Pixel > Transform > Scale.
  3. Adjust the scale parameters in the scale dialog.
  4. Click OK to apply the scaling.
