Texture Operations โ€‹

Texture operations modify the texel data of the active texture.

Clear โ€‹

Use Clear to remove selected texels. If no texels are selected, the entire texture is cleared.

Cleared texels are replaced using the default color and material of the Mesh Layer, so the texture does not contain holes.

How to Use It โ€‹

  1. Select texels or the Mesh Layer.
  2. Go to Texel > Clear.

Fill Color โ€‹

Use Fill Color to assign the active color to selected texels. If no texels are selected, the entire texture is filled.

How to Use It โ€‹

  1. Select texels or the Mesh Layer.
  2. Choose the active color.
  3. Go to Texel > Fill Color.

Fill Material โ€‹

Use Fill Material to assign the active material to selected texels. If no texels are selected, the entire texture is filled.

How to Use It โ€‹

  1. Select texels or the Mesh Layer.
  2. Choose the active material.
  3. Go to Texel > Fill Material.

Load Texture Image โ€‹

Use Load Texture Image to replace the current texture with an image.

The image colors are remapped to the active palette.

How to Use It โ€‹

  1. Activate the texture you want to replace.
  2. Go to Texel > Load Texture Image.
  3. Choose the image file.

Save Texture as Image โ€‹

Use Save Texture as Image to save the current texture as an image file.

How to Use It โ€‹

  1. Activate the texture you want to save.
  2. Go to Texel > Save Texture as Image.
  3. Choose the output filename.
