Texture Operations

You can perform various operations on textures to manipulate and enhance their appearance. Below are the available texture operations:

Clear

The Clear operation removes selected texels from the texture. If no texels are selected, the entire texture will be cleared. When texels are cleared, the color and material defined by the Mesh Layer that owns the texture will be used in place of the empty texels, ensuring there are no holes.

Steps:

  1. Select the desired texels or the Mesh Layer.
  2. Navigate to Texel > Clear.

Fill Color

The Fill Color operation fills the selected texels with the active color. If no texels are selected, the entire texture will be filled with the active color.

Steps:

  1. Select the desired texels or the Mesh Layer.
  2. Choose the active color.
  3. Navigate to Texel > Fill Color.

Fill Material

The Fill Material operation fills the selected texels with the active material. If no texels are selected, the entire texture will be filled with the active material.

Steps:

  1. Select the desired texels or the Mesh Layer.
  2. Choose the active material.
  3. Navigate to Texel > Fill Material.

Load Texture Image

The Load Texture Image operation replaces the current texture with an image. The colors of the image are matched to the colors in the active Color Palette.

Steps:

  1. Activate the texture you wish to replace.
  2. Navigate to Texel > Load Texture Image.
  3. Select the image in the file selector.

Save Texture as Image

The Save Texture as Image operation allows you to save the current texture to a file.

Steps:

  1. Activate the texture you wish to save.
  2. Navigate to Texel > Save Texture as Image.
  3. Select the desired image filename.
