Shared Environmental Settings Profiles โ€‹

Environmental Settings Profiles store reusable environment settings for cameras.

They make it easy to save a camera setup and reuse it in other scenes or projects. For more information on loading and saving profiles in a camera, see Setting Up Cameras.

For details about the available environment settings, see Environmental Settings.

Accessing Shared Environmental Settings Profiles โ€‹

Shared Environmental Settings Profiles can be accessed through File > Shared Files > Environmental Settings Profiles.

File Location โ€‹

Shared Environmental Settings Profiles are stored in:

Documents\Foxel\Shared\EnvironmentalSettings

File Format โ€‹

Environmental Settings Profiles are stored as .fxlenv files.

Editing Environmental Settings Profiles โ€‹

To edit an Environmental Settings Profile, open it from the shared files list.

When a profile is opened for editing, its settings are loaded into the default camera so they can be previewed directly.

Saving and Loading Profiles โ€‹

Environmental Settings Profiles are created by saving the settings of a camera and can later be loaded back into a camera.

This allows you to reuse lighting, sky, atmosphere, and other environment-related settings without recreating them manually.

Importing and Exporting โ€‹

Environmental Settings Profiles are managed directly inside Foxel. They are not imported from or exported to external formats.
