Pixel Tool Point Mode โ
Point Mode is the most direct pixel editing mode.
It is best for precise changes and for building or removing structure one step at a time.
How It Works โ
In Point Mode, the clicked position becomes the edit target. Depending on the active tool, Foxel can:
- create a pixel
- remove a pixel
- paint a pixel
- assign a material
- select a pixel
Dragging can be used for continuous editing.
How to Use It โ
- Click to edit a single pixel.
- Click and drag to edit continuously.
Straight Lines โ
You can also use Point Mode to edit a straight line between two points.
- Click to set the start point.
- Hold
Shiftand move the mouse to preview the line. - Click to apply the active tool along that line.
Notes โ
- Hold
Shiftwhile dragging to constrain freehand editing to 90ยฐ angles. - Use Brush Mode if you want to edit more broadly and less precisely.
When to Use It โ
Use Point Mode when you need maximum control or when other modes would affect too much data.
