Pixel tool modes control how the selected pixel tool is applied.

Available modes

Icon	Mode	Best used for
	Point Mode	Precise edits and single pixels
	Rectangle Mode	Rectangular regions
	Area Mode	Screen-space area edits
	Brush Mode	Freehand editing
	Flood Mode	Similar connected regions

Choosing a mode

Use:

• Point Mode for precision
• Rectangle Mode for broad flat edits
• Area Mode when the current view matters
• Brush Mode for fast sketching
• Flood Mode for connected color- or data-based regions
