Aligning 2D Objects

The Align feature allows users to align selected 2D objects along specified axes. This functionality is essential for organizing objects in a precise manner, ensuring that they are positioned consistently within your scenes.

How to Use Align

To align 2D objects, follow these steps:

  1. Select the objects you wish to align.

  2. Navigate to Object > Align in the menu.

  3. A dialog will appear with alignment options for each axis (X and Y). The available buttons for alignment are as follows:

    • Left Edges: Aligns the left edges of the selected objects.
    • Centers: Aligns the centers of the selected objects based on their x-axis center values.
    • Right Edges: Aligns the right edges of the selected objects.
    • Bottom Edges: Aligns the bottom edges of the selected objects.
    • Centers: Aligns the centers of the selected objects based on their y-axis center values.
    • Top Edges: Aligns the top edges of the selected objects.
  4. Click any alignment button to preview the action. If you are satisfied with the alignment, click OK to apply the changes.
