Voxel Tool 2D Flood Mode โ€‹

Voxel Tool 2D Flood Mode

2D Flood Mode applies the active tool to similar voxels on a single plane.

How It Works โ€‹

Foxel starts at the clicked voxel and expands across neighboring voxels on the active plane while the data still matches the flood criteria.

This is useful for quickly painting, selecting, or replacing regions without affecting depth behind them.

How to Use It โ€‹

  1. Move the cursor over a voxel face.
  2. Click a voxel to apply the active tool on the indicated slice.

Contiguous Option โ€‹

You can toggle Contiguous in the Toolbar.

Contiguous Option

  • Enabled: Only connected matching voxels on the slice are affected.
  • Disabled: All matching voxels on the slice are affected.

Notes โ€‹

  • When you hover over a voxel face, Foxel shows a planar cross that indicates the slice on which the flood operation will be performed.

When to Use It โ€‹

Use 2D Flood Mode when you want to affect matching voxels on a single slice without changing voxels behind it.
