Filtering Colors and Materials

The Color Palette and Material Set can be filtered to show only a subset of entries.

This helps reduce visual clutter and makes it easier to focus on the colors or materials that are relevant to your current task.

Filtering is available on the Surface page. For an overview of workspace pages, see Pages.

Filter Modes

The following filter modes are available for both colors and materials:

• All: Shows all entries.
• Used: Shows only entries that are currently used in the asset.
• Object: Shows only entries used by the currently selected object or objects.
• Favs: Shows only entries marked as favorites.

Applying Filters

To apply a filter, use the filter control at the top of the Color Palette or Material Set panel.

Managing Favorites

Favorites can be managed directly in the Color Palette and Material Set.

To add entries to your favorites:

1. Select one or more colors or materials.
2. Right-click to open the context menu.
3. Choose Add to Favorites.

To remove entries from your favorites:

1. Switch to the Favs filter.
2. Select the entries you want to remove.
3. Right-click and choose Remove from Favorites.
