Yes. Foxel is currently in Beta and already fully usable. You may encounter occasional bugs or small changes as I prepare the 1.0 release. Purchasing Foxel during Beta gives you full access according to the selected license, including updates as described on this page.

Initial activation requires internet. After that, subscriptions must re-validate every 3 days; lifetime licenses every 30 days.

No. Your projects are stored separately and won’t be deleted unless you remove them manually.

Yes. Project files remain accessible for viewing/backup even if your subscription is inactive, but editing will be disabled.

Yes. Foxel imports from and exports to both. Note that not all features are supported in those formats; Foxel outputs the closest possible result.

A lifetime license is a one-time purchase — you own Foxel forever. It includes one year of updates, and you can add more years later with optional update extensions. Even if you don’t renew updates, you can keep using your current version indefinitely.

A subscription, on the other hand, is a recurring plan (monthly or annual). As long as your subscription is active, you always have access to the latest version and all updates. When the subscription expires, Foxel enters view-only mode — you can still open your files, but editing is disabled until you renew.

Yes. Core and Pro licenses can be activated on up to two devices as long as they’re used by the same person.

Studio licenses work on a per-seat basis, meaning each seat key can be activated on one device. If you need more devices or team members, simply add additional seats to your Studio license via the Foxel Customer Portal.

Absolutely. All license types allow commercial use.

If you have a subscription, you’ll always get the latest updates — they’re included for as long as your plan is active.

If you have a lifetime license, you receive one year of updates from the purchase date. After that, you can keep using your current version forever, or extend your update eligibility at any time through the Foxel Customer Portal.

You can purchase update extensions anytime through the Foxel Customer Portal. Each extension adds one additional year of updates to your lifetime license and costs 25% of the original license price.

You can adjust your Studio seats via the Foxel Customer Portal where you can add or remove seats on a subscription or buy extra seats for a lifetime license.

Yes. You can upgrade from Core to Pro at any time, both for subscriptions and lifetime licenses. When upgrading, you only pay the price difference between Core and Pro.

Subscriptions and lifetime licenses are separate and cannot be converted into each other. Upgrading to Studio is not supported.
