Bloom

Bloom is a rendering effect that simulates the way light interacts with the lens of a camera, creating a soft glow around bright areas in your voxel scenes. This effect enhances the visual appeal by adding a dreamy quality to bright lights and highlights, making them appear more vibrant and eye-catching.

When Bloom is enabled, bright areas of the scene will emit a halo of light, which can create a sense of depth and atmosphere. This effect is particularly effective in scenes with strong light sources, such as sunlight or glowing objects.

Settings

  • Intensity: This setting controls the strength of the Bloom effect. A higher intensity will result in a more pronounced glow around bright areas, while a lower intensity will create a subtler effect.
  • Threshold: The threshold setting determines the brightness level at which the Bloom effect is applied. Only areas that exceed this brightness will produce a bloom, allowing you to control which lights are emphasized in your scene.
