Voxel Tool Brush Mode โ€‹

Voxel Tool Brush Mode

Brush Mode is designed for freehand editing in screen space.

How It Works โ€‹

As you drag the cursor, Foxel shows the brush stroke as a highlighted overlay on screen.

At this stage, the active tool is not applied yet.

When you release the mouse button, Foxel applies the active tool to the voxels under the highlighted stroke.

This makes Brush Mode useful for fast, freehand edits based on the current view.

How to Use It โ€‹

  1. Click and drag on the screen to draw a brush stroke.
  2. Watch the highlighted overlay preview as you drag.
  3. Release the mouse button to apply the active tool to the voxels under that stroke.

Notes โ€‹

  • Brush Mode works in screen space.
  • The highlighted stroke is a preview overlay until you release the mouse button.
  • Brush Mode does not pierce the object.
  • Only the voxels under the visible highlighted stroke are affected.

Brush Size โ€‹

You can change the brush size in the Toolbar.
