Filters
Filters are a variety of operations that allow users to manipulate and enhance the colors and materials of their pixel models. These filters enable creative control over the visual appearance of pixel grids, making it easy to achieve the desired aesthetic.

Foxel utilizes an indexed color system, which means that colors are represented by a limited palette of predefined colors. When applying color filters, the resulting colors are calculated and then matched to the closest available color in the active palette. This ensures that the final appearance remains consistent with the selected color options, while also allowing for creative adjustments.
Important
If there are selected pixels in the active pixel grid, any filter will only apply to these selected pixels. Otherwise, all pixels from all selected Pixel Layers will be affected.
Available Filters
The available filters work similarly to those described in the Voxel Modeling section, but they are specifically designed for use with pixels and Pixel Layers instead of voxels and Voxel Layers.
