Pages โ
Foxel uses pages to organize the workspace by task.
The selected page determines what is shown in the left panel and right panel, while the central Scene View remains visible. This allows you to switch between organizing objects, editing surfaces, managing assets, or placing reusable content without leaving the main editing view.
For example, the Scene page shows the Hierarchy on the left and the Inspector on the right. The Surface page instead shows the tools and data used for working with colors and materials.

Switching Pages โ
You can switch pages in two ways:
- Click a page button in the Page Bar at the bottom of the workspace.
- Use the default shortcuts
Shift + 1throughShift + 5.
Available Pages โ
Scene โ
Use the Scene page to organize and edit the currently open asset.
It shows the Hierarchy in the left panel and the Inspector in the right panel. This is the page you use when selecting objects, editing their properties, arranging scene structure, and working with cameras, lights, and other scene objects.
Surface โ
Use the Surface page to work with the colors and materials of the currently open asset.
This page is used when painting, assigning materials, and adjusting the visual appearance of your content. For more information, see Colors and Materials.
Assets โ
Use the Assets page to manage projects and asset files.
This page is used to create, open, rename, duplicate, sort, filter, import, and export project content. For more information, see Projects and Assets.
Prefabs โ
Use the Prefabs page to manage prefab packages and place prefabs into the scene.
This page is useful when working with reusable scene elements. For more information, see Prefabs.
Minis โ
Use the Minis page to manage mini sets, select minis for the Stamp Tool, and place minis into the scene.
This page supports repeated patterned placement and reusable voxel snippets. For more information, see Minis.
