Prefab Properties

Prefab Packages and Prefabs can store descriptive metadata such as names, categories, scale information, and descriptive text.

This metadata helps organize, identify, and search Prefab content more easily.

Editing Prefab Package Properties

To edit the properties of a Prefab Package:

1. Open the Prefabs page.
2. Locate the package on the left side.
3. Double-click the package to open its properties.

Package Properties

A Prefab Package can contain the following properties:

Attributes

• Name: The package name.
• Main Category: The primary category of the package.
• Subcategory: A more specific category within the main category.
• Unit Scale: The measurement scale used by the package.

Description

• Title: The display title of the package.
• Headline: A short summary or subtitle.
• Description: A longer description of the package.
• Keywords: Search terms associated with the package.

Copyright

• Creator: The person or organization that created the package.
• Copyright Status: The copyright state of the package.
• Copyright Notice: A copyright statement.
• Copyright Info URL: A link to additional copyright information.

Editing Prefab Properties

To edit the properties of an individual Prefab:

1. Open the Prefabs page.
2. Make sure the correct package is open.
3. Locate the Prefab on the right side.
4. Double-click the Prefab to open its properties.
