This section provides a comprehensive guide on how to export Mini Sets and individual Minis, allowing you to save your creations in various formats for use in other projects or applications.
Steps to Export a Mini Set
- Activate the Mini Sets Tab.
- Select the Mini Sets you wish to export.
- Right-click on your selection.
- Choose Export from the context menu.
- If you are exporting a single file, you will be prompted to enter a filename.
- If you are exporting multiple files, you will be prompted to select a destination folder. In this case, the default file type will be used for exporting.
Steps to Export a Selection of Minis
- Open the Mini Editor.
- Select the Minis you wish to export.
- Right-click your selection and choose Export Selected from the context menu.
- In the export dialog, enter a filename and click Save.
Exporting Mini Sets as Images
When you export a Mini Set as an image, the resulting file will always be 512x512 pixels, arranged in 16 rows and 16 columns of Minis. Keep in mind that standard images do not support height or material properties, so that information will not be included in the export.
Exporting Mini Sets as Heightmap Assets
Exporting a Mini Set as an asset generates a Heightmap asset with a size of 256x256 pixels. Since each Mini has a fixed size of 32x32 pixels, you can export a maximum of 64 Minis this way. If there are more than 64 Minis available for export, the extras will not be included. In such cases, consider selecting Minis in the Mini Editor and using Export Selected from the context menu as described above. For each exported Mini, a Pixel Layer will be created containing the Mini's pixels.
