Rotating 90° (Pixel)

The Rotate 90° operation in Foxel allows you to quickly rotate pixel grids by 90 degrees along a specified axis. This method is non-destructive, making it ideal for frequent adjustments to your pixel models. Note that this operation does not rotate the object itself; it only repositions the pixels within the grid.

Steps to Rotate Pixel Grids by 90°

  1. Select pixels, Pixel Layers, or Pixel References.
  2. Navigate to one of the following menu entries:
    • Pixel > Transform > Rotate 90° CW (rotates clockwise)
    • Pixel > Transform > Rotate 90° CCW (rotates counterclockwise)
    • Pixel > Transform > Rotate 180°

INFO

When Pixel References are rotated using this operation, the rotation value is added to the grid rotate property.
