Pixel Tool Point Mode

The Point Mode is a Pixel Tool Mode that allows freehand editing of pixels. You can also use Point Mode to edit pixels along a straight line between two points.

Steps to Freehand Edit

  1. Activate a pixel grid.
  2. Select a Pixel Tool.
  3. Activate the Point Mode. Point
  4. Click and drag to freehand edit.

Tip

You can constrain the freehand-edited line to perfect 90° angles by holding down the Shift key while dragging the mouse.

Tip

Use the Brush Mode to freehand edit with a larger brush size.

Steps to Edit a Straight Line Between Two Pixels

  1. Activate a pixel grid.
  2. Select a Pixel Tool.
  3. Activate the Point Mode. Point
  4. Click on a pixel to set the start of the line.
  5. Hold down the Shift key and move the mouse to get a visual preview of the line of pixels.
  6. Click to edit the previewed line of pixels.
