Opening Projects

To work on a project in Foxel, you must first open it. Only one project can be open at a time, and the currently open project is referred to as the active project. When a project is opened, the last asset you worked on will be automatically opened as well.

Open Via the Main Menu

Steps to Open a Project Using the Main Menu

1. Select File > Open Project.
2. Choose the project you want to open and click Open.

Open Via the Quick Access Panel

You can also open projects quickly using the Quick Access Panel.

1. Click on the Open Project button in the Quick Access Panel.
2. Select the desired project from the dropdown list.

Steps to Open a Project Using the Projects Panel

1. Open the Projects Panel.
2. Double-click the desired project to open it.

Open Via Windows Explorer

When you open a project via Windows Explorer, Foxel will launch and automatically open that project.

Steps to Open a Project from Windows Explorer

1. Locate the project folder you want to open.
2. Double-click the project file project.fxlprj, which has the Foxel icon.
