Using the Eyedropper Tool
The Eyedropper Tool allows users to sample and select the color and material of texels. It can also be used to select the secondary color, which serves as a quick way to switch between two colors, as well as to add colors to the favorites list.
Steps to Select the Primary Color and Material
- Activate the Eyedropper Tool.
- Click on a texel to sample its color and material.
Tip
All Texel Tools, except for the Select Tool, can quickly select the color and material of texels by using the Alt key shortcut. For more information, see Working with Texel Tools.
Steps to Select the Secondary Color
- Activate the Eyedropper Tool.
- Hold down the
Altkey and click on a texel to set the secondary color.
Tip
Use the shortcut X to switch primary and secondary colors.
Steps to Add a Color to Favorites
- Activate the Eyedropper Tool.
- Hold down the
Shiftkey and click on a texel to add its color to your favorites.
