Downsample

Use Downsample to generate the currently displayed LOD from the next higher LOD.

This is useful when Manual LOD is enabled and you want to initialize a lower LOD from existing higher-detail voxel data.

How to Use It

1. Activate a voxel grid.
2. Make sure Manual LOD is enabled for the Voxel Layer.
3. Set the LOD you want to generate to LOD1, LOD2, or LOD3.
4. Go to Voxel > Operations > Downsample.

Notes

• This operation is only available when Manual LOD is enabled for the selected Voxel Layer.
• LOD0 cannot be generated with this operation because it is the highest-detail LOD.
• The displayed LOD can be changed from the Header Bar.
