Using the Stamp Tool
The Stamp Tool is used to apply the pattern of a selected Mini to a pixel grid.
For more information on Minis, please refer to the Minis manual.
Steps to Stamp a Mini
- Activate a pixel grid.
- Select the Stamp Tool.
- Choose the Mini you want to apply.
- (Optional) Adjust the Stamp Tool options to modify the Mini's transformation and the operation's behavior.
- Move the cursor over a solid pixel to preview the Mini.
- Click on a pixel to apply the Mini to all solid pixels within the area of the Mini.
The selected Mini is indicated by the Mini preview button on the Toolbar. To select a different Mini, click on that button or use the shortcut 3.
You can also select the active Mini from the Minis Tab in the left sidebar.
Stamp Tool Options
The Stamp Tool offers various options that can alter the contents of the Mini as well as how it is applied:
 | Rotate | Sets the rotation of the Mini in 90° increments. |
 | Flip Horizontally | Flips the Mini horizontally. |
 | Flip Vertically | Flips the Mini vertically. |
 | Repeat Horizontally | Toggles horizontal pattern repeat. |
 | Repeat Vertically | Toggles vertical pattern repeat. |
 | Elevate | Toggles whether the Mini's height information is used. |
