Selecting Pixels
Only the active pixel grid allows for pixel selection. When you select pixels within this grid, they are highlighted with a dashed outline, providing clear visual feedback that they are ready for modification or transformation.
Use the Select Tool to select individual pixels or to select pixels within a specified area.
You can also utilize the following options from the main menu:
- Pixel > Select All: Selects all pixels within the active pixel grid.
- Pixel > Deselect: Deselects any currently selected pixels.
- Pixel > Invert Selection: Selects all unselected pixels while deselecting the currently selected ones.
Note
Air pixels cannot be selected.
Important
If there are selected pixels in the active pixel grid, any operations or transformations will only apply to these selected pixels, allowing for precise editing of specific areas.
If no pixels are selected in the active pixel grid, all pixels within that grid, as well as all pixels from any other selected Pixel Layers, will be affected by the operation.
