A lifetime license is a one-time purchase — you own Foxel forever. It includes one year of updates, and you can add more years later with optional update extensions. Even if you don’t renew updates, you can keep using your current version indefinitely.

A subscription, on the other hand, is a recurring plan (monthly or annual). As long as your subscription is active, you always have access to the latest version and all updates. When the subscription expires, Foxel enters view-only mode — you can still open your files, but editing is disabled until you renew.

Yes. Core and Pro licenses can be activated on up to two devices as long as they’re used by the same person.

Studio licenses work on a per-seat basis, meaning each seat key can be activated on one device. If you need more devices or team members, simply add additional seats to your Studio license via the Foxel Customer Portal.

Yes, Foxel supports the following upgrade paths: Core to Pro and Studio Indie to Studio Team (simply add additional Studio seats in the Customer Portal).

Upgrading from Pro to Studio is not supported.

Studio Indie gives solo developers access to the full Studio feature set without the 3-seat team minimum.It’s a lifetime license for one individual and is ideal for technical artists, tool developers, and solo entrepreneurs.
