Selecting Voxels

Only the active voxel grid allows for voxel selection. When you select voxels within this grid, they will be highlighted in yellow, providing clear visual feedback that they are ready for modification or transformation.

Use the Select Tool to select individual voxels or to select voxels within a specified area.

You can also utilize the following options from the main menu:

  • Voxel > Select All: Selects all voxels within the active voxel grid.
  • Voxel > Deselect: Deselects any currently selected voxels.
  • Voxel > Invert Selection: Selects all unselected voxels while deselecting the currently selected ones.

Note

Air voxels cannot be selected.

Important

If there are selected voxels in the active voxel grid, any operations or transformations will only apply to these selected voxels, allowing for precise editing of specific areas.

If no voxels are selected in the active voxel grid, all voxels within that grid, as well as all voxels from any other selected Voxel Layers, will be affected by the operation.
