Resizing Voxel Grids

The Resize operation allows you to adjust the dimensions of Voxel Layers. This can be useful for scaling your voxel models to fit specific requirements or to create different variations of your designs.

Important Note

Due to Foxel's automatic optimization feature, the Resize function can only be used to decrease the size of the voxel grid. Foxel automatically optimizes grid sizes by cropping empty areas and extending the grid when new voxels are drawn.

Steps to Resize Voxel Grids

1. Select one or more Voxel Layers.
2. Navigate to Voxel > Transform > Resize.
3. Adjust resize parameters in the resize dialog.
4. Click OK to resize the voxel grid.

Note

The Resize operation always affects the entire voxel grid and ignores voxel selections.

Resize Dialog Parameters

• New Size: Enter the new dimensions for the voxel grid.
• Uniform: Check this option to maintain the aspect ratio while resizing.
• Anchor X/Y/Z: The nine anchor buttons determine the point from which the resize occurs, organized by axis.
