Shared Files Overview
Shared files in Foxel allow you to access resources across all projects, unlike project files that are limited to the current project. This feature streamlines your workflow, making it easy to manage and reuse assets.
Each file type has a dedicated panel in the Left Sidebar for easy creation and management. It is essential to use these panels instead of the file explorer to ensure proper handling of shared files.
All shared files are stored in Documents\Foxel\Shared\.
Key Benefits of Shared Files
- Efficiency: Quickly access and reuse resources across multiple projects.
- Performance: Files (except Lua scripts) are stored in a proprietary format for fast loading.
- Organization: Keep your files neatly categorized for easy management.
