Editing Voxels

The Editing Voxels section provides an overview of the tools available for modifying voxels in Foxel.

Voxel Tools

Users can utilize various Voxel Tools to edit voxels in different modes, allowing for versatile editing techniques.

  • Draw Tool: Creates new voxels.
  • Erase Tool: Removes existing voxels.
  • Paint Tool: Applies color to existing voxels.
  • Coat Tool: Assigns materials to existing voxels.
  • Select Tool: Selects voxels for further operations.
  • Attach Tool: Attaches new voxels to existing ones.

These tools can operate in multiple modes, such as Point Mode, Rectangle Mode, and Brush Mode, enabling users to tailor their editing approach to specific tasks.

Utility Tools

In addition to the Voxel Tools, there are three utility tools that enhance the editing experience:

  • Crop Tool: Removes unwanted areas from the voxel grid.
  • Stamp Tool: Applies the pattern of a selected Mini to the voxel grid.
  • Eyedropper Tool: Samples and selects colors and materials from existing voxels.
