Batch Export Multiple Assets
Batch export lets you export multiple assets at once from the Assets page.
This is useful when you want to send out several assets together instead of exporting them one by one.
Why This Matters
Exporting assets one by one is slower when several outputs are needed together.
Batch export is the cleaner workflow when a group of assets should be written to disk in one step.
How To Batch Export
To export multiple assets:
- Switch to the Assets page.
- In the right panel, select the assets you want to export.
- Right-click the selection.
- Choose Export.
- Select the destination folder.
- Click OK.
Foxel exports the selected assets to that folder.
How Filenames Are Chosen
For batch export, filenames are generated automatically from the asset names.
This keeps the workflow fast and consistent because you do not need to name each exported file manually.
For example, an asset named tree_large will use that asset name as the basis for the exported filename.
Which File Type Is Used
The file type used for batch export can be configured in:
Preferences > Default Export File Types
The default file type for this workflow is FBX.
Use this preference when you want batch export to target a different format by default.
